If you’re getting yourself a freestyle deck, you’re going to want some skid plates to go with that.

What are they, you ask? In short, they’re hard slabs of plastic to fit to the ends of the board, preventing it from being pogo’d to oblivion through razortail.

We sell them individually because some folks like leaving one end “au naturel”, but buy two of these and you’ll be saving money in the long term – trust us on that. Each one comes with the necessary hardware to mount it to a deck, but you will need a drill to put them on.

This particular shape works well on the Toshiaki Fujii board, as a tail skid for Dan Garb’s single kick, or on a generic popsicle deck, if that’s more your speed.
