Synopsis are a bearing brand from Los Angeles that have been making a bit of a buzz on the internet for a while, and we’re proud to be the first to stock them in the UK.

These are their Synopsis Ceramic bearings – as fast and as smooth as it’s possible to go.

Unlike a lot of cheap ceramic bearings, these use a “blackball” formula which doesn’t shatter due to impact (and is actually harder than the metal rings that hold them in place). This also means that the ball doesn’t get damaged through the inevitable dirt ingress – although these are the only double-shielded bearings Synopsis make, helping keep dirt out of the bearing even longer.

And, like the regular Synopsis Blue Rays, these bearings come with speed washers, spacers, replacement axle nuts1, and most importantly, a small bottle of bearing lubricant, making it easy to keep these ceramic bearings running at their best.
