Bill Danforth’s pro model wheel from Speedlab is exactly what you’d expect from a guy who made a career from tearing up backyard pools like a madman; a bigger, slightly softer wheel capable of dealing with less-than-perfect terrain.
Here’s the specs: 54mm or 58mm, 97a, conical cuts on each side, and a chunky 25.5mm contact patch, with all-natural uncoloured urethane.

We have been fans of ‘The Nomad’ ever since seeing photos in the magazines of his frontside rocks, layback rollouts and sweepers showing off his smooth aggressive style back in the 80’s. We couldn’t be more stoked to have Bill join the Speedlab family and are pleased to introduce the Bill Danforth Pro model.
The shape of the Danforth wheel was designed by Bill himself to have a rounded conical cut on each side and the graphics were inspired partially by Bill’s beer of choice. This American made wheel is produced from the best formulas in the world and provide a highly functional profile & shape that you’ve come to expect from the King of Wheels!
