These are bearings for people who like going fast. REALLY fast. These ceramic bearings are part of the combo which have broken downhill speed records. You might not notice any difference between these and regular Tektons rolling between rock-fakies and a tail stall on a mini ramp, but when you’re pushing 60+mph, the extra speed and strength of ceramics will make a real difference. Couple them with the 75.5mm Alphas for one of the fastest combos you’ll ever experience.

Like regular Tektons, these feature Seismic’s built-in spacer with a unique flange, locking the bearings together on the axle and restricting slop. No other bearing is this precise.

Note that these may not fit street wheels due to the larger flange; wheels without cores often have oversized bearing seats which may obstruct the inner flange. If in doubt, contact us or use the Tekton Lites.

Already in a class by itself, black ceramic balls send the self-aligning Tekton design to a whole new realm of fast. Compared to even the finest steel bearing balls, ceramic balls have several remarkable advantages that justify their higher cost. They’re significantly lighter and lower in friction, so they accelerate faster and roll further at a higher speed, even with little or no lubricant. They’re so hard and strong that they crush dirt, debris, and even rust, which keeps the steel raceways clean and polished. They dissipate heat better, so bearings (and wheels) run cooler. They’re also rustproof, so they last longer even when ridden in wet conditions.

Seismic® Tekton bearings feature wide, flat contact surfaces at the ends of integral half-spacers. Now larger and color-anodized, the broad flanges square up, co-align and self-stabilize inside your wheels – correcting more than ever for flaws in bearing seat levelness and spacing / axle diameter and straightness. Self-straightening: Prevents bearings from sitting or rocking out of alignment better than any other system. Self-supporting: Protects bearings from internal stresses that accelerate wear.

Tighter assembly tolerances mean less torsional play within the bearing body, while the patented Tekton self-alignment system minimizes torsional play in relation to the axle. The two features combine for faster and more precise roll; more consistent wheel contact and grip while cornering; more predictable slide release and hookup; and longer wheel and bearing life.

Now assembled with advanced dust-resistant ball retainers to keep your bearings cleaner for longer – without the added friction of a second seal. Other features include: top-grade P4 steel balls, black outer casings, removable rubber-coated steel seals with printed graphic, and high-end Japanese Kyodo grease. Construction meets or exceeds all requirements for ABEC-7 rating.

The inner race is stepped underneath the seal to resist contamination. On the side opposite the flange, the inner race extends 0.5mm to form a thin integrated washer. No bearing spacers, axle washers, or World Record budgets required!

NOTE: The broad Tekton flanges may not fit hub-less streetboard wheels with old-style, oversized bearing supports, which sometimes leave the wheel’s central hole smaller than the flange (15mm in diameter). Use Tekton LITE bearings for wheels of this type.
