Seismic have taken the previous 60mm and 64mm versions of the Cry Baby and split the difference to give us this 62mm wheel.
The previous Cry Baby made for a fantastic hybrid wheel – we sold a lot to people who wanted them for everything from freeride/downhill sliding, longboard dancing, skating rougher/older pools and bowls, or just general purpose cruising. These new ones give you a few more options; the 84a and 88a versions are stoneground and poured in Seismic’s Elixir compound for smoother, better slides; the 80a is a stoneground Defcon for the best possible combination of speed and slide; and the clear 82a is a perfect middle ground which will feel more familiar to folks used to traditional or classic longboard wheels.
