If you’re getting yourself a freestyle deck, you’re going to want some skid plates to go with that.
What are they, you ask? In short, they’re hard slabs of plastic to fit to the ends of the board, preventing it from being pogo’d to oblivion through razortail.
We sell these individually because this is our 114mm wide “micro skid” shape, designed to match the shape of tapered noses on directional boards such as Mode’s Rogers and Deco decks and most 80s reissues. Most boards will need a different shape for the other end – usually either a tail skid or a rounded tail skid – depending on the board. If you’re not sure which to use, send us an email and we’ll give you some advice on which will be the best fit.
