To a lot of younger skaters, Pierre Andre is "just" the guy who founded, owns and runs Etnies, éS and Emerica shoes. However, he's also one of France's top exports in skateboarding, representing them on the world stage in freestyle throughout the 1980s - and earning a World Championship, inventing one of the most popular freestyle tricks in the world and representing another excellent French export in the process.

Now his fellow countryman (and similarly legendary figure in skateboarding) Jeremie Daclin has given Pierre a reissue/homage/guest model on his new Into the Wild brand, and we're honoured to have a limited number in stock here at Offset.

If you're looking to skate this rather than hang it on the wall (and let's be honest - you really should!), then you should know this isn't a typical 80s freestyle deck; with a mild hint of concave, this is closer to Mode's Mike Rogers than a straight reissue - only it has more manageable (read: not American) sizing and proportions.

You're going to need a Seismic nose skid and Seismic tail skid combination for this board.

We're constantly on the hunt for more slalom and freestyle trucks, and these Sure-Grip Invaders fit the bill perfectly. They're very, very old-school in design; they look like the original Tracker Fultracks in more ways than one. With the "swept" pivot, solid bushing seat, and a less-turny-than-average 10º kingpin angle, these would be perfect as a back truck in a slalom rig or as a locked-tight freestyle truck for a stationary-orientated setup.

With a 6.97" axle, these will work on any freestyle deck between 7.25" and 7.5" wide. We recommend coupling these with a single kick deck such as the Moonshine Kill Your Idols and the freestyle wheels of your choice for a wonderfully retro rig.

Khiro's bushings are world-renowned for their high quality and wide range of options. This is their "tall cone" combo setup - a similar design to a traditional barrel-and-cone bushing combo, such as Khiro's own standard barrel bushings, only much taller. More urethane means more resistance and more rebound, so generally, you get better performance out of these taller bushing setups than you do with much smaller bushing combinations.

Bear in mind that not many trucks have a long enough kingpin to use these bushings; please check the measurement guide below before purchasing, as we can only guarantee they'll fit in Sure-Grip Invader 700s and Tracker Racetracks. If in doubt, go with the standard barrel bushings or KBAC-1 bushings instead.

Also, note that Khiro's bushings come in single-truck packs, which means you'll need two packs to upgrade both trucks.

Currently we only stock these in 98a, but we can obtain other hardnesses. If you would like these in another hardness, please contact us.

Time for something a little different.

These wheels for Sure-Grip are designed and made for "artistic" rollerskates, but like the Rollerbones, they can be used as a freestyle wheel - with a couple of caveats.

First, you need to use specially sized rollerskate spacers (which we provide with each set). This means bearings with built-in spacers like the Tekton Lites or Biltins WILL NOT FIT. (Don't say we didn't warn you.)

Secondly, because the space between the bearings is fractionally smaller, you'll need to make up the space between the wheel and the hangar with "speed rings" (otherwise known as washers) to push the wheel out to the end of the axle.

But once you cross those hurdles, you get a surprisingly skinny and lightweight wheel at a relatively low price, and to us, that sounds like a winner.

Want some cheap but serviceable bearings? Film's got your back; these Film ABEC-5 Bearings will keep you rolling without breaking the bank.

And while they might not come with spacers, they're at least double shielded to keep some of that British dirt and grime out of the bearing... and come in possibly the coolest box we've ever seen. Someone over at Film is obviously a Leica fan!

These are Khiro‘s standard 1″ Phillips head bolts. No fuss, no muss. If you’re using thin risers, a thicker deck than usual or trucks with a thicker baseplate, this is the length you want.

However, if you’re combining any of those two things, definitely jump up a size; 1″ won’t cut it.

These are Seismic's new skid plates, made using some high-grade proprietary compound designed to resist wear, and tested by professional freestylers Tony Gale and Stefan "Lillis" Åkesson. They're slightly grippier than a regular skid plate, so if you find most skids a little too slippery, these are worth looking into.

They're also shaped considerably different to most skids; that curve along the bottom side gives something a little extra to lock onto for caspers, a better point to grab for airwalks and fingerflips, and reduces the overall weight by 5g compared to other skids of a similar size.

We sell them individually because some folks like leaving one end "au naturel", but buy two of these and you'll be saving money in the long term - trust us on that. Each one comes with the necessary hardware to mount it to a deck, but you will need a drill to put them on.

This particular shape works well on the Tony Gale, Lillis Åkesson, and Felix Jonsson boards from Moonshine, the Postcard from Mode Skateboards, and the tail of the Nick Beaulieu deck from Moonshine - but that deck needs a different skid for the nose.

Each one comes with the necessary hardware to mount it to a deck, but you will need a drill to put them on.

This particular shape works well on the nose of the Turi Zoltan deck from Cirus, the Denham Hill, Nick Beaulieu, and Kill Your Idols boards from Moonshine, the Deco and Mike Rogers decks from Mode Skateboards, and the nose of most typical 1980s reissues like the Mullen Chessboard. All of those decks will need a different skid for the other end of the deck, however.

It's also useable on both ends of the Toshiaki Fujii deck from Moonshine, so make sure you pick up two of these if you're planning on using this skid for that deck.
