Into the Wild is the new deck brand from Jérémie Daclin, former Cliché head honcho and current bossman at Film trucks; each deck is a limited release featuring art from a legendary skateboarder and/or artist and very unlikely to be repeated.
The art on this deck comes from Welsh artist Philip Morgan; coupled with a nicely tapered shape, some proper wheelwells and Into the Wild’s signature high quality printing and finish, this is definitely one worth skating and not just hanging on the wall (but we won’t judge you too hard if you decide to go the latter route).

Choosing trucks for a shaped deck isn’t as simple as with a “normal” straight-sided popsicle. The widest point of this Philip deck from Into the Wild is 9″, but it narrows to 8.5″ at the front truck and a tiny 8.25″ at the back.
Because of this, we really don’t recommend running something with a 9″ axle on here. You might want to opt for an 8.75″ axle to balance everything out (using something Film’s 6.0″ Raw trucks), but to keep it nice and tidy, you might choose some trucks that’ll line up nicely at the front likeAce AF1 55s instead.
