The Hillock Freestyle is an oddity by the standards of modern freestyle skateboarding; at just 27.25″ by 6.75″, this is the smallest freestyle deck we sell by a long way. It’s also made from multiple thin veneers of high-quality Finnish Birch instead of Canadian Maple in a bid to make it as eco-friendly as possible. However, more significantly, this is hand-made in the UK by Gary Hillock, making it the only commercially available UK-made freestyle deck since the 70s, as far as we know.
Shape-wise, this mixes together old-school proportions with some new-school elements. The nose and tail are modern and tapered, looking more like a typical double kick than a classic single kick – meaning that not only do you get better railflips and ollie tricks, but you’ll want to use Seismic’s modern/regular skids with this one. The width is narrow enough to fit the smallest Ace trucks available, the 00, but the length is still longer than most decks this narrow to make it more comfortable for the average freestyler.
In other words, this board is perfect if you want to do your best Kevin Harris impression while flying the flag of the British grass-roots tradition at the same time; it’s basically Offset’s whole raison d’être in one deck.
Specifications:
Length: 27.25”
Width: 6.75”
Wheelbase: 11.75”
Nose: 5.625”
Tail: 5.75”
Note the deck is a bit thicker than normal at 0.54”, so you might need longer bolts than you would for a normal setup.

ABSOLUTELY POSITIVE. Light, perfect shape, it’s a great deck and a fantastic hand-made work.
Mr Hillock, CONGRATULATIONS
