Gullwing 10″ Mission I Trucks

The Gullwing 10″ Mission I trucks are very old school in their design – with a classic Tracker-style angled pivot and a cast-in bushing seat on the baseplate, these have a more stable and higher-rebound turn than most modern trucks, making them perfect for high-speed vert and pool riding. They’re also tall enough to accommodate larger wheels; slap some big 58mm+ urethane on here and you’ll be flying.

We’d recommend putting these on any big shaped deck between 9.75″ and 10.25″ wide – something like a giant pig board, for example.

The Gullwing 10″ Mission I truck is perfect for big ol’ “pig” decks – if you’ve been searching for the perfect undercarriage for something like Moonshine‘s 10″ Conan deck, look no further.

We’ve measured the Gullwing 10″ Mission I up, and we seem to get a real-world hanger measurement of 186mm, an axle of 9.95″, and a height to the center of the axle of about 58mm with the stock bushings, with a weight (including all supplied nuts and washers) of 410g per truck. These are incredibly tall trucks – definitely one of the tallest currently available in this size.

The bottom bushing is a 14mm tall barrel, and the top one is a 9.5mm tall cone. The provided bushings measure 85a on our durometer. Due to the fact the baseplate has a built-in bushing seat for barrels, we recommend sticking with a barrel and cone setup if you’re looking to put aftermarket bushings in these trucks. That’ll give you the best possible rebound and stability – you should be actively pushed out of a carve if you’ve got it set up right.

The baseplate is double-drilled, having both the new school (shorter) hole pattern and the original 80s style holes, meaning these will fit on any board in existence, whether it’s a modern shaped deck or a classic reissue.

Finally, the pre-installed kingpins are of the modern splined variety, but there is enough room in the baseplate to install an inverted or regular hex-head kingpin. There’s a flat surface next to the base of the kingpin, almost like it was designed to hold a hex head, but we can’t guarantee that it will hold a hex head still. However, you probably won’t need to swap the kingpin out – there’s so much kingpin clearance that the chance of hanging up on a smith grind is slim to none. Slash away!
