Quickboltz are now not only sold out, but completely discontinued. According to the distributor, no more will be made, so I guess it’s back to screwdrivers and allen keys from this point on. Sad face.
Anybody who was skating in the early to mid 2000s will remember Randoms bolts. They were a type of mounting hardware that only needed a spanner/wrench/socket set; the bolt itself was splined so that it couldn’t spin in the deck. You just hammered it in, screwed the nut on and tightened it down, and you were good to go.
A lot of people swore by Randoms – but then all of a sudden they disappeared, meaning everyone had to go back to regular hardware again.
Turns out one enterprising company from Liverpool, UK kept the Randoms design alive with these Quickboltz. They work exactly the same way, so if you’re sick of having to carry around a screwdriver or are always losing your allen keys, these bolts are just what you need.
