We don’t generally bother with reissues, but Brand-X is doing them properly; original moulds, high-quality wood and properly hand-screened decks mean these are as close as you’ll get to the decks people were skating in the 1980s.

The Riot Stick is a mid 80s shape, with what Brand-X call “Spoon Nose Medium Concave” (translated: a functionally flat nose with only a small upturn and a fairly mellow concave), and all four wheel wells present and correct; this should be a good all-round board for the more old-school-inclined out there. And, for a bonus note, this deck is drilled with both new-school and old-school truck mounting patterns, so you can even bolt your OG Indys or Trackers on it without modification!
