Blast Skates have given us another wild shape – this time from the mind of Amanda Pérez. We’re a fan of this one – big 1990 shaped vert deck vibes. Grab it while you can or we might steal it!

Choosing trucks for a shaped deck isn’t as simple as with a “normal” straight-sided popsicle. The widest point of this Amanda Pérez deck is 9.75″, but it narrows to 8.625″ at the front truck – and just 8.375″ at the back!
As such, we’d recommend going no wider than something with a 9″ axle like the Ace 55, but you could even make an argument for going with something a touch smaller like the 8.75″ axle of Film’s 6.0 trucks just to avoid having your wheels sticking out from the side of the deck.
