The latest deck from Blast Skates is a signature model for Jake Snelling; he designed a crazy 80s style shape with all the harsh points he could, and we love it. Throw some huge trucks under this and go barge some concrete.

Choosing trucks for a shaped deck isn’t as simple as with a “normal” straight-sided popsicle. The widest point of this Jake Snelling deck is 10″, but while it stays at 10″ at the front truck, it narrows to 9″ at the back.
Our personal preference for this deck would be something like the 9.33″ axle of the Ace 66s – or, if you’re going to be using the big chonky wheels a shape like this really demands, the taller Paris 169s. Bare in mind that your back wheels are going to be visible with either truck, though!
