Choosing trucks for a shaped deck isn’t as simple as with a “normal” straight-sided popsicle. The widest point of this Callum McRobbie deck is 10.25″, but it narrows to 9.25″ at the front truck – and just 8.625″ at the back!
Our personal preference for this deck would be something like the 9.33″ axle of the Ace 66s – or, if you’re going to be using the big chonky wheels a shape like this really demands, the taller Paris 169s. Bare in mind that your back wheels are going to be visible with either truck, though!
