Born in 2002 under the Turner brand, this line of three classic wheel shapes was re-named 3DM in 2003 and brought under the management of Seismic Skate Systems in 2004. The 62mm Cambria, 68mm Avalon and 75mm Avila literally wrote the book on performance race shapes in the early 2000s, and for many years they utterly dominated international slalom racing. Importantly, the 75mm x 65mm Avila was THE original big, wide wheel – the prototype for modern downhill race shapes.
These timeless 3DM shapes helped inspire the development of the Seismic wheel line, as well as the entire landscape of the modern longboard wheel industry – and still hold up today. Try them out and see why they were such game-changers!
